TwinMarket Terms of Service
Effective date: April 21, 2026
1. Acceptance of These Terms
TwinMarket provides searchable housing-market pages, saved-market tools, similar-market comparison features, and related subscription services for informational and analytical use.
By accessing or using TwinMarket, creating an account, or purchasing a paid subscription, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
2. Eligibility and Accounts
- You must be at least 18 years old to use TwinMarket.
- You must sign in using a valid Google account and provide accurate account information.
- You are responsible for activity that occurs through your account and for maintaining access to your Google sign-in credentials.
- You may not share your account, impersonate another person, or use the service in a way that could harm TwinMarket or other users.
3. What TwinMarket Is and Is Not
TwinMarket is a housing-market research and comparison product. It is designed to help users screen markets, compare regional metrics, and organize a shortlist for further diligence.
TwinMarket does not provide:
- investment advice
- legal advice
- tax advice
- brokerage services
- appraisal services
- lending or financing services
- guarantees of future market performance or returns
You are responsible for verifying any market, pricing, rent, or investment thesis independently before making business, investment, legal, tax, or purchasing decisions.
4. Data and Service Disclaimers
TwinMarket relies on internal processing plus third-party and public-source housing data. Coverage, update timing, historical depth, and feature availability vary by market and source.
We do not guarantee that any data, analysis, map, chart, ranking, or similar-market result will always be accurate, complete, current, or available. Delays, omissions, source errors, and service interruptions can occur.
5. Acceptable Use
You may use TwinMarket only for lawful purposes and only in the manner these Terms allow.
You may not:
- scrape, crawl, harvest, or bulk download the service or its data
- use bots, scripts, or automated means to extract content or bypass access controls
- copy, resell, sublicense, or create a competing dataset, model, or product from TwinMarket content without written permission
- reverse engineer or interfere with the service except to the limited extent such restrictions are prohibited by law
- attempt unauthorized access to accounts, systems, or non-public data
- use the service in a way that is fraudulent, abusive, defamatory, unlawful, or harmful to others
6. Subscription, Billing, and Cancellation
TwinMarket Premium is currently offered as a recurring monthly subscription. Payment processing and subscription checkout are handled by Stripe.
If you start Premium:
- you authorize recurring monthly charges until you cancel
- the price and any applicable promotional terms are shown before you complete checkout
- cancellation is available online through the Manage Subscription page in your account
- if you cancel, renewal stops and Premium access remains available through the end of the current paid billing period
- if renewal has already been turned off, you may resume renewal before the period ends if the feature is available in your account
Except where required by law or expressly stated otherwise at checkout, subscription fees are non-refundable and non-prorated once a billing period has started.
We may change subscription pricing, features, or packaging prospectively. Any change will apply no earlier than a future billing cycle or renewal period after notice where required.
7. Intellectual Property
TwinMarket and its related software, branding, content, charts, text, layouts, and compiled data presentation are protected by intellectual property laws.
Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the service for your personal or internal business evaluation purposes. No ownership rights are transferred to you.
8. Account Suspension, Deactivation, and Termination
We may suspend or terminate access to the service if we reasonably believe you violated these Terms, created security risk, failed to pay required fees, or used the service in an abusive or unlawful way.
You may deactivate your account from the account-management area when you do not have an active paid subscription. Deactivation currently signs you out, marks the account inactive, and removes linked OAuth records from the application database. Some records may still be retained as described in the Privacy Policy for security, billing, legal, backup, and reactivation purposes.
If you later sign in again with the same Google account, TwinMarket may reactivate your account.
9. Disclaimer of Warranties
To the maximum extent permitted by law, TwinMarket is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, TwinMarket and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenues, business opportunities, goodwill, or data arising out of or related to your use of the service.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, TwinMarket's total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the service will not exceed the greater of:
- the amount you paid to TwinMarket for the service during the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim, or
- $100 USD
Nothing in these Terms limits liability to the extent such limitation is prohibited by applicable law.
11. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we may update the effective date above and provide notice through the site, the account area, or another reasonable method.
Your continued use of TwinMarket after updated Terms become effective means you accept the revised Terms.
12. Governing Law and Venue
Unless mandatory consumer-protection law requires otherwise, these Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
Unless prohibited by applicable law, disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or the service must be brought in the state or federal courts located in California, and you consent to those courts' jurisdiction.
